Frequently asked questions
Does it work for a conference that runs several days?
Yes. Set the start and end dates, and the gallery covers the whole programme - one code from the opening keynote to the close.
Can we show the photos live during the event?
You can. The gallery updates itself without reloading the page, so putting it on a screen in the foyer is enough.
What about photos of attendees who would rather not appear?
You can delete any photo from the dashboard, and it goes from the download archive too. The gallery is not publicly searchable in the first place.
Do guests need to install an app?
No. Scanning the QR code opens a normal web page in their phone's browser. Nothing is installed and nobody signs up.
What if a guest doesn't want to give their name?
They can continue without one. Their photos are simply credited to "Guest".
When can I download the photos?
Right away, at any time. The dashboard has a button that downloads every photo in a single ZIP archive.
How long does the gallery stay open?
Guests can upload for 1 day after the event ends. After that the gallery stays viewable and downloadable for another 30 days.
Can I remove a photo I don't want?
Yes. You can delete any photo from the gallery in the dashboard.
Is the gallery public?
No. The link never appears in search engines and only people who scan your QR code can reach it.
