Frequently asked questions
Who downloads the photos once everyone has gone?
Whoever created the gallery - usually a form tutor or a parent from the committee. The dashboard link arrives by email, and every photo comes down as one ZIP whenever they want it.
Can parents upload too, or only the students?
Anyone who scans the code can upload, and the name they type says who took what.
How long does it stay open after the night itself?
Uploads stay open until the end of the last day, and viewing and downloading for weeks after that - long enough for everyone to send before they scatter.
Do guests need to install an app?
No. Scanning the QR code opens a normal web page in their phone's browser. Nothing is installed and nobody signs up.
What if a guest doesn't want to give their name?
They can continue without one. Their photos are simply credited to "Guest".
When can I download the photos?
Right away, at any time. The dashboard has a button that downloads every photo in a single ZIP archive.
How long does the gallery stay open?
Guests can upload for 1 day after the event ends. After that the gallery stays viewable and downloadable for another 30 days.
Can I remove a photo I don't want?
Yes. You can delete any photo from the gallery in the dashboard.
Is the gallery public?
No. The link never appears in search engines and only people who scan your QR code can reach it.
